Qualifying Done
Qualifying, just after sunset… into the dark, is complete. The Muscle Milk Daytona Prototype is on the pole with a sub 1:50 lap time. Despite the economy, the paddock is full with more than 70 race cars and more big rigs than I’ve ever seen at the 25.
In our E2 class we qualified 7th with a lap time of 2:10.3. Pole in E2 is 2:05.1. Our car feels great!
The weather was nice today, little wind with temps around 60. Tonight the forecast low is in the mid 30’s.
Tomorrow during the race you can follow live timing and scoring here. Green flag at 11:00 AM PST.

Couple questions. Noticed the missing fuel cover- does everyone do this? great idea, dont think its legal in scca, didnt read anything but the supps for this event. so maybe I didnt see it.
Noticed Kuhmo’s, how do they hold up, how many laps before the RF shows chords?
How many laps or green flag time do you guys normally get on a full tank of gas?
