The building is progressing!

Here are some more photos of the building progress. Eric and Wayne are working late into the night every night. They hope to have everything together and to be testing on Monday so it should be a busy weekend.

This is a 4.0 liter air-cooled flat-6. This is some serious displacement for a 911 engine, and should produce some serious power. The car should be pretty light as well.

Speaking of powerful and light, Eric just informed me that a Daytona Prototype car is entered in the race. A real prototype race car. Sounds like tough competition! Eric didn’t seem too worried about it. “Hey, we’ll just outdrive them.” he said. “How do we do that with a car that’s in a lower class?” I asked. “It’s a Porsche!” he replied. Good answer Eric. Let’s use that rear-engined magic on them.
